LUNOS decentralised energy recovery ventilation (ERV) systems provide fresh, clean air to your building, without losing valuable heat (or coolth).Decentralised systems do not require ducting, and are therefore much easier to install. This makes them perfect for retro-fittings, or buildings that simply do not have space to install a centralised ducting system (for a new build, or existing home with ample access to a roof or floor cavity, centralised systems may be more suitable).
Examples of toxic substances include:
However, with this highly improved thermal performance the risk of moisture buildup also increases. Household activities such as clothes drying, washing, cooking and showering introduce further moisture to the indoor environment. High moisture and condensation levels inside a building’s fabric are highly concerning as they can lead to mould, mildew and decay, amongst other structural issues.
These issues can be easily addressed by intelligent building design, which includes suitable ventilation systems with temperature and humidity controls.
The LUNOS e² ERV units operate in pairs: as one unit draws fresh, filtered air in to the building, the other unit exhausts stale air and other toxins to the outside. After a set time period (usually 90 seconds), the units both reverse their cycle and swap their roles. This continuous switching allows the building to breathe in and out, much like a set of lungs.

Developed in time for their 60th anniversary, these units are designed for the future, bringing more efficiency and lower energy consumption. It brings the same quiet operation of the e² in the same sized unit, but with higher volume flow.
One of the reasons why such a high degree of efficiency is achieved is the patented flow straightener, which ensures a particularly uniform flow through the heat exchanger. The intelligent control system makes it possible for the first time for an axial fan to achieve a constant volume flow at high back pressures. This makes the e²60 suitable for use in areas with high wind speeds, such as on the coast or at high altitudes.
Another great advantage is the infinitely variable adjustment of the volume flow rate up to 60 m³/h. No other comparable device can do this. The e²60 can be used as a control unit for a wide range of applications. Responsible for the high thermal efficiency of the unit is, among other things, the patented flow regulator, which ensures a constant air flow through the heat exchanger.
The e²60 can be used in any e² environment as the same grilles, hoods, inner panels and controls can be used. Quick retrofitting is possible at any time. The e²60 makes it possible for the first time that the devices no longer have to be operated in pairs, but now an odd number can also be installed.

In addition to manual operation with four ventilation stages, the integrated humidity and temperature sensors also make it possible to activate a humidity-sensitive automatic mode, with eight stages of control.
As a special feature, the Smart Comfort can also be used to set day and season dependent modes such as night-time reduction, summer mode or intensive ventilation. Fresh air and a healthy indoor environment as well as energy-saving ventilation is assured.
The installation is possible both in the living areas and bedrooms, as well as in rooms with high humidity such as the bathroom. Up to 4 e2 pairs can be controlled from this unit.
The Smart Comfort (operating controller plus control screen) and an additional power supply unit (18 or 60 watts) are required for operation.
