montavent TRAPEZ™

is a flush-mount system that is ideal for sloping metal roofs, such as colorbond, cliplok, metaldeck etc. montavent TRAPEZ™ offers significant advantages over traditional rail-based mounting systems.

What makes montavent TRAPEZ™ so good?

• Uses less raw materials - as little as only 1/4 of the aluminium used in some traditional rails systems.
• Less embodied energy.
• Easier and cheaper to transport. Some traditional rails are up to 6m long – the longest montavent rail is only 95cm. Unloading long rails requires a forklift or a side load truck.
• Easier and cheaper to store - long rails can only be stored at floor level and take up lots of warehouse space. montavent comes in boxes and can be stacked and racked.
• Easier and safer to handle.
• Costs less than traditional rail systems.
• Faster and cheaper to install than traditional rail systems.
• Simple slide and clip fastening of modules - no screws or bolts to work loose over time.
• No forgetting to fasten screws or bolts properly.
• Less weight load on the roof.
• No warping or twisting due to thermal loads - each module is fully floating, not fixed to a long rail.
• Greater module security - more theft proof than traditional screw/bolt fastened systems.
• Lower roof profile on finished installation is aesthetically pleasing.
• Non-continuous rails allow better airflow and less debris build up under modules.
• Offers flexible placement of modules to maximise array size.
• Black anodised components available.
